Spring

We went for a lovely walk in the countryside last week. The sun was shining and we found all these wonderful signs that spring had come to our little spot of the country: crocus, aconites, snow drops and daffodils.

My garden is showing its first colour too. Most of my pink hyacinths are out and I’m very tempted to pick a bunch of them and bring them in as it’s a very grey day today. I’ve planned a trip to the garden centre this morning just to get out a bit. I don’t really need anything but, who knows, I might just come home with some gorgeous spring blooms. There’s nothing like a bright yellow primrose to lift your mood and make you happy.

I’m hoping to get some sewing time today as I have a couple of things I really need to finish. Master has been feeling very poorly which meant that I didn’t get much time to do any crafting. He’s on antibiotics now and feeling a bit better which is great.
